Lite post: What I'm Reading
Some posts I recently read and recommend: on product sense, web3, and good strategy
Hi there,
Thanks for being a subscriber to What's my A.I.! We’re in what feels like the golden era of great, free content online. Here are some of the things I’ve been reading lately that you might like too:
What does it mean when someone has great product sense? How do you develop it?
Lenny’s newsletter consistently has great stuff and I love the tip below to re-frame a problem (“Elevator is too slow” → “The wait is annoying”) to widen the solution space available to your product.
While most of the hype around web3 as been focused on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, the web3 ecosystem is diverse and has opportunities in platform development and non-currency use cases.
I’ll be publishing a series in the summer explaining the fundamentals of crypto and the landscape. Until then, if you want to know how to start finding accessible projects, check out Jason Shah’s series below.
What is good product strategy, even? Have you ever felt like you’re working on disparate tasks with no coherence?
Ibrahim Bashir of Amplitude (ex-Box, Twitter, and Amazon) graciously wrote an entire post dissecting what the qualities of a good strategy are after I (and others) asked him how to get your teams to stop spinning. This is one of the benefits of writing openly online - your ideas speak louder than your title and employing company.
Happy reading!
Meryam
